Dr. Zhang graduated from Southern Medical University and has over 20 years of clinical experience in medical oncology. He has performed more than 10,000 interventional procedures with zero errors and zero complaints. In 2024, he was honored as one of the inaugural recipients of the “Baiyun Outstanding Doctor” award. He has also strengthened his academic expertise through publishing research papers, authoring medical monographs, and producing popular science works.

Dr. Zhang specializes in digital subtraction angiography (DSA)-guided vascular embolization therapy for a wide range of malignant tumors, including nasopharyngeal carcinoma, tongue cancer, thyroid cancer, head and neck tumors, esophageal cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, mediastinal tumors, hepatocellular carcinoma, gastric cancer, renal cancer, pancreatic cancer, intra-abdominal tumors, adrenal cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, pelvic tumors, rectal cancer, and metastatic malignancies. He is also experienced in iodine-125 radioactive seed implantation, cryoablation (Xenon Knife), microwave ablation therapy, esophageal and biliary stent implantation, as well as comprehensive treatment approaches including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy.
