Ms. Saran Traore from Guinea suffered from a herniated disc, experiencing numbness below the hips, lower back pain, and an inability to stand upright or walk properly, which greatly affected her mobility.
Her son, who works in foreign trade in Yunnan, brought her to Guangzhou Sing May Hospital after a friend’s recommendation.
After a multidisciplinary consultation involving internal medicine, surgery, rehabilitation, and traditional Chinese medicine, she received a combination of treatments including device-based therapy, acupuncture, tuina massage, ozone therapy, and hydrogen therapy. She was also prescribed herbal medicine to boost energy and improve circulation, along with internal medicine for muscle relaxation and pain relief.
After two weeks of treatment, she showed significant improvement and was able to move freely. The mother said she had long heard about the wonders of Chinese medicine, and now she had experienced it for herself. She added that the doctors and nurses at Sing May made her feel so warm and cared for, which she believed helped speed up her recovery. As she shared her story, both mother and son smiled warmly. Her son expressed his gratitude to the medical staff at Sing May for helping his mother regain mobility so quickly. He said he travels to Yunnan several times a year for business, and from now on, he would also bring his mother to China every year for traditional Chinese medicine treatments at Sing May.
